The weather has been pretty nice lately so the other weekend Josh took Isabelle outside to play. Josh was working in the yard and Isabelle had her little gardening aparon on while she collected berries off our tree. It was so cute to see her running around. Carol came over from across the street and gave her a basket to help carry all her stuff. She loved it.
I ended up going in the house to get some cleaning done and they stayed outside. Josh had set up the laddar and was trimming the top of a tree next to our house. I was in the office and as I looked out the window I saw Josh standing on the laddar (almost on the top step) and Isabelle was right behind him. She had climbed up after him and he didn't even notice. I banged on the window to get his attention. Once I got it I pointed down to her and he jumped strait down onto the ground and grabbed her. She was pissed! She had climbed all the way up there and didn't want to get down. Thankfully, I saw it in time and no one got hurt but that just goes to show you how fast kids are. Maybe next time we should put a bell on her. :)
